Alpine Homes

Alpine homes are among the most secluded in Bergen County because privacy is a large reason why people come here.

One of the wealthiest communities in the world, Alpine is also one of the most unassuming. This hamlet of 2,200 is very much a nature center unto itself with its magnificent towering trees and acre plus lots rimmed by forested land for a setting that is offers its residents the utmost in privacy and quietude. Most people driving through Alpine don’t even know it’s there; this degree of anonymity is precisely what Alpine’s exclusive residents crave and for which Alpine is renowned. Alpine homes are often removed from view behind gates and forested grounds.

For such a cloistered setting, Alpine has a remarkably convenient location. The George Washington Bridge and Manhattan are a 15 minute drive away as is access to major interstate highways. All of the New York City airports are within a one hour drive and shopping at Riverside Mall (Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, etc.) is but 5 miles from town. Nearby and within minutes is local shopping where you will find King’s Gourmet Supermarket, a pharmacy, beauty salons, restaurants and more.

The Alpine School District is K – 8 and its 134 children enjoy an outstanding academic program where the student/teacher ratio is 7.4 to 1. They then go on to attend neighboring Tenafly High School 5 minutes away. As a sending district to Tenafly, students from Alpine homes access one of the most highly regarded secondary schools in the State.

While this prestigious community is home to many international celebrities from all walks of life, it is also a very intimate place where people get to know one another and care enough about their town to be actively involved in the local government and the school district.
Alpine New Jersey is one of the most exclusive locations in the world where its natural beauty is prized as well as its quietude and privacy. Alpine homes are among the most elite in the United States and Alpine is a most special place to call home.
