It's the weekend before the 4th.  While we're beginning to see things wind down as we enter the holiday week, there's still opportunities for fun this weekend.  Let's dive into it now and take a look -

Marshall Playwrights Showcase
The Marshall Playwrights Showcase is a weekend presentation of 4 one-act plays by the Players Guild of Leonia.  Performances available are Friday and Saturday nights at 8 plus a 2 pm Sunday matinee.  This concludes their 2025 season for now returning again int fall.

Howdy Stranger is Back!

It's time for another evening of side splitting improv comedy.  This is so popular that it's brought back regularly.  Saturday night at 8 pm is when the next Howdy Stranger happens at HACPAC  (Hackensack Performinng Arts Center).  Each is a bit different from the other but every one is a night of non stop improv comedy fu.

Caribbean Island Food & Family Fun Festival
Come Sunday to the Teaneck Armory for a full day festival that introduces you to the culture of the Caribbean islands.  You'll also learn a lot about Caribbean culture.  This will be so much fun.  It's 12-7 and be sure to bring your appetite.  Caribbean food is truly delicious.  The Caribbean Island Food & Family Fun Festival has a ton of vendors and the location is ideal.  The Teaneck Armory (1799 Teaneck Rd, Teaneck) is a big space with tons of parking.

This is what I have in indoor fun events.  It's going to be another rainny weekend so I thought that indoor events were best.  And, of course, there's not a lot going on because this is THE major holiday week of the summer.

I've just published a blog article on all the 4th of July events some of which happen this weekend.  So check this out too.
