The 4th of July in Bergen County is celebrated throughout our 70 towns plus the County itself has a spectacular celebration in Overpeck Park. In fact, it's so big in Overpeck County Park that they have shuttle bus service from a nearby corporate parking lot. A few towns began last week but most of us think of this as the start of 4th of July celebrations.
In addition to the County Star Spangled Spectacular and town celebrations, there's the Tall Ships where an amazing display of tall ships from around the world will sail up the Hudson River from the Verrazano to the George Washington Bridges on the 4th of July. For those of you who were around in 1976, this was called Operation Sail back then.

The Bergen County Star Spangled Spectacular is on the 4th of July and is the biggest of all. Three towns last week had fireworks at night. Here's what we have for the rest this 4th of July week:
